Andrew is a veterinarian, and his ebook
teaches people how to care for their ailing dogs
and cats.

Andrew tried just about everything to take his
business beyond that $1000 a month range, but
nothing made a difference… until he tried
Product Launch Formula last October.

A couple of months later he released a new version
of his product, increased his price by a factor of
TEN, and then did a “by-the-book” Product Launch
Formula launch.

The result?

Huge sales!

And after those two weeks the momentum didn’t slow
down at all – the sales kept pouring in at a rate
of at least 10 times what his sales were before
his product launch.

(And that doesn’t even mention DOUBLING the size
of his list during the launch AND attracting a
bunch of new affiliates and JV partners!)

Now THAT is the power of a powerful Product
Launch.

So now the question is, what could a serious
Product Launch do for YOUR business? Take a look
here:

P.S. I just put the finishing touches on the full-
length Case Study with Andrew Jones and uploaded
it to the Product Launch Formula Owners page.

There are some great lessons in this Case Study,
and it now joins the other 37 extra unannounced
bonuses that I have given to my PLF Owners. These
are NOT garbage bonuses that I found sitting
around on my hard drive… they are all ORIGINAL
bonuses that I personally created… and they are
ONLY available to PLF Owners.

You can get access to these bonuses TODAY when you
jump onboard and get your copy of Product Launch
Formula:

My Back is to the wall. Maybe my last chance. Jeff you´re story inspired me.
I was a winner. Yes I was. Made 250.000 per year. Then I´ve gone bankrupt, my wife has gone and I´ve lost my self confidence.
Now I have to do everything to win. I have to, because my situation makes me sad.
I hope, I will be your next winning story. Then I will fly from Germany to the US and celebrate.
I will make a big launch, a really big launch. Either… or.
Ok, I am looking forward to get the packet.
I only have a list of 600 email customers…
a)Can i still use my SMALL list of 600 with the product launch formula to yield some profits? or will the profitls be low/small..
b)If i do the Product launch formula well, what conversion of customers who buy be? (to the ones that don’t buy)
eg, with the Product launch formula, if i do it well, APPROXIMATLEY how many of the 600 people should buy…
(eg, 300 of them -50%,
420 of them )
for examples,

Ryan Hamer said:
It doesn’t matter how big your list is. It matters the relationship you have with your list. For example if you had a list of 100 people that you email regularly and they participate in your blog and or ask you questions and comment etc. Then you have someone else who has a list of 600 people who he doesn’t email regularly or have communication with on a consistent basis. They both launch a $500 dollar product at the same time. You with your list of 100 get a little more than half of them to buy with 55 of them purchasing. So thats 55 x 500 = $27000. You made $27000! Of of a list of only 100. The other guy only sells to 33 of his list of 600 potential prospects but he wasn’t doing anything with his list so it was cold. So he only makes $16500 and his list is 6 times as big as yours. So to get to the point….its all about your relationship that you have or build with your list that determines the outcome of your success on launch day. Good luck!
Amazing!
I have to admit, I never bought anything (yet!) from Jeff Walker, but I sure got a lot of inspiration and his free video tutorial/teaser was just the thing that made me “jump the gap” between thinking and doing.
The most amazing thing is that this stuff actually works – so well! Currently, I’m experimenting a bit on my own, trying to learn more about marketing. Online and offline marketing.
This post about getting “instant business momentum” is just great, it’s exactly what I’ve been focusing my experiments on the last 5-6 days. In two weeks, I’m releasing my own product based on my research. And I’ll be sure to include this blog in my “list of resources” for getting business momentum.
Big Thank You to Jeff!

It still amazes me how the product launch formula strategy works…even when you know what triggers are being pulled. It all comes down to the fact that PLF communicates in a manner that people love – it doesn’t feel like a sales pitch at all. Key among the triggers is that it hooks you into participation by allowing you to give your opinion and make comments. When other people see this, they feel like they are part of a community…which makes a huge difference in the perceived value of the product – especially significant online where we can’t normally see how many other poeple are interested in buy a given product. When you see someone else buying something, it makes you want it more. The great thing about the strategies and tactics in Product Launch Formula is that they will never get old and useless like so many of the systems out there that rely on tricks and specific technology – PLF uses whatever the technology for maximum sales effectiveness because it is based on the way human beings think and behave. If there ever was an evergreen system, PLF is it.

OK, I received lots of comments and questions
about that email I sent yesterday… so I figured
I better clear a few things up.

First off, my workshop will NOT cost $18,000.00.

Yes, I did sell out my Platinum Coaching Program
in a few hours, and the Concierge Level DID cost
$18,000.00 (and the Platinum Level was $10k.)

But take my word on this… this workshop will
cost a LOT less than $18k.

And if you are a Product Launch Formula Owner,
you will qualify for an additional discount.

Second, I hope to open registration in the next
week or so. When I do open registrations, I will
give PLF Owners a head start of at least a day or
two on everyone else.

And since you know me and the way I do things, you
know that the first people in will get the best
deal.

Third, I have heard from one person who ALREADY
made flight reservations (I made the mistake of
telling him the tentative location.) This worries
me a little – since the dates and location are
STILL tentative (at this point I would estimate
they are 95% locked in.)

Fourth, those tentative dates are June 22-24th.
And it should be in Denver, CO. Even though this
isn’t 100% locked in yet, please block those dates
off on your calendar right now.

Fifth, I have already heard from a bunch of my
“guru” friends who want to come. As I mentioned in
my earlier email, this workshop is NOT going to be
an endless parade of speakers – it will pretty
much be “all Jeff Walker”… just me spilling the
beans on everything. But take my word on this -
there are going to be some amazing people in the
room.

best regards,
Jeff

P.S. I seriously can’t remember being as excited
about any project before as I am about this
Product Launch Workshop – not even my Platinum
Coaching Club and NOT EVEN Product Launch Formula.
The new stuff I have discovered in even the last six
months is just staggering.

And I have a few things to share that I have not
told ANYONE.

In fact, a couple of months ago Rich Schefren paid
me a HUGE sum to launch his new coaching program
(it turned out to be a multi-million dollar
launch), and I have a few things I didn’t even
share with Rich.

PLF was my best investment ever. I didn’t know it when I bought it, but it would have been worth 10 times what I paid. So I have been waiting for you to come up with something new. Looks like this workshop is it – I can’t wait.

Bring it on Jeff! Stop teasing us. I want in.

Hi everybody from Berlin/Germany.
I have a question about this seminar and about the home study course. 3 month ago I started a website about the US stock market. At the moment everything is free. On the website I give recommondation about “How can you make money with stock options”. I show my readers live what options I buy and when I sold the options .My first challenge now is to get more traffic, but my main question is:
Can the seminar or the home study course help me to launch my service(membership site or newsletter)?
Regards
Dominik

Sarah said:
Dominik,
I own Jeff’s Product Launch Formula course, and the answer is YES. Without a doubt it can help you. In fact, since Jeff was in your exact same market for a long time (stock market trading) and most of his examples are from that market – this is perfect for you.
Sarah

Heather said:
Sounds interesting… but I want to know what it will cost. I don’t have $18,000 or anything like that.

Dominik said:
Thanks a lot Sarah.
Have Jeff Walker written an advisory service or did he launch a home study course for traders?
Maybe I see you on the seminar. But I think before I come to such an event I have to do my “homework” and try to get more traffic and work with the home study course. But maybe if I think the seminar can help me, I will decide to fly to Denver.
Dominik,
Jeff Walker here… I published an advisory service for traders for 8+ years. During that time I continually launched and relaunched multiple advisory products.
As part of that business, I also launched other relaunched various training products – home study course, webinars, teleseminars, etc..
That is the market that I developed my Product Launch Formula techniques for. However, they work in any type of market, and that has been proven over and over for the last couple of years.
Whether it’s an advisory service or a home-study course, it just doesn’t matter. It worked for both for me.
And since I released PLF, it has worked for just about any type of product you can think of… including physical widgets, online services, offline services, physical infoproducts, digital infoproducts, charitable causes, spiritual causes, member sites, real estate, professional associations, etc..
best regards,
Jeff

NOTE: there is nothing for sale in this post.
There aren’t even any links to click on. But I do
have an IMPORTANT announcement for you…
———–

Every now and then there’s an event that literally
shakes the foundation of the Internet Marketing
world.

For example, there was John Reese’s Triple Your
Profits Workshop in 2004. The people who attended
that event were literally the “who’s who” of
Internet Marketing, and we all sat riveted in our
seats for three days as John taught us everything
he knew.

And just recently, in January there was the
Altitude Seminar, which was so exclusive you
probably didn’t even hear about it… but some of
the people attending included John Reese, Brad
Fallon, Andy Jenkins, Rich Schefren, Jeff Johnson,
Mike Filsaime, Yanik Silver, Tom Beal, John
Carlton, Jeff Mulligan, the Rich Jerk, Frank Kern,
Alex Mandossian, and myself.

Those live events were so powerful that they
instantly changed everything. If you were at
them… well, it was almost as if you were part of
“the club” – you had the inside information that
set you head-and-shoulders above everyone else you
were competing against.

Well, it’s time for another massive shift in the
Internet Marketing landscape… because in the
next couple of days I am going to be releasing
details of an ultra-exclusive Product Launch Live
Workshop.

I will be teaching EVERYTHING that I’ve learned
since I released Product Launch Formula eighteen
months ago… I have coached people through
MILLIONS of dollars of launches in that time, and
the stuff I have learned in those launches is
going to melt people’s brains.

Simply put, when I released Product Launch
Formula, it changed all the rules. And I’m about
to do that all over again. There have now been
nearly $60 million in launches that came directly
out of my formula… and the NEW stuff I have
developed from helping with so many launches is
going to be revealed in explicit, step-by-steop
detail.

One more thing: it will be a true WORKSHOP that is
designed from top-to-bottom so that when you walk
out the door you will have a 100% actionable, Jeff
Walker-approved launch plan.

With all the coaching I have done in the last year
or so, I have learned the CRITICAL things that
make the difference between a “good” launch, and a
truly RECORD-BREAKING launch. That’s why we will
be working on your specific launch blueprint. You
will be using the EXACT templates and mind-maps
that I use whenever I sit down to plan a
blockbuster product launch.

OK, the final details are still being put in
place, so I can’t give you all the full-blown
story. But you need to block off June 22nd
through June 24th on your calendar now.

I’m actually not even supposed to be giving you
those dates yet. The people helping me plan the
logistics told me I shouldn’t release anything
until we have a signed contract with the
conference hotel. But I’m too excited about this
event to hold back any longer. I’m sick of
waiting… so I’m breaking the rules.

That’s all for now, I will have more details
coming very soon…

best regards,
Jeff Walker

P.S. This event will be very small. That’s because
of the “workshop” nature of the event… I want it
to be interactive and intimate, so I am going to
need to severely limit the number that can attend.
I am still working on the exact number (partly
because we are still locking in the conference
facility). I think the Altitude seminar had about
40 people… and that seemed like a good size.

Last fall when I opened up my Platinum Coaching
Club, it sold out in a few hours… even though it
was priced at $18,000.00 for the Concierge Level
and $10,000.00 for the Platinum Level. This live
event has a few more spots available, so I don’t
think it will sell out quite so fast… but you
will want to make up your mind quickly.

P.P.S. If you are interested in attending, hit
your “reply” button now and let me know. I don’t
know if there will be an early-bird “warning
system”… but I might put something like that
together.

I sent this to the people on my email list yesterday.
I think you might find it interesting…

Well yesterday you received a very short and rather cryptic email from me. The subject line was “holding spot message”, and the entire body of the message was a single two-letter word – “ho”.

Over the last 24 hours my email has generated a mountain of responses into my inbox.

So is this the latest product launch technique? Some new super-secret marketing trick that I have come up with?

Ummmm… no, the answer isn’t quite that exciting. But I do have some very interesting tactics and data that I will share with you… but first let me explain the reason for that email…

It was a MISTAKE. An error. A screw-up. Let me explain..

If you’ve been paying attention, you know that I love, love, LOVE aweber. Actually, I love ProFollow.com even better (that’s my private label version of aweber .

And as I have been using aweber over the years, I have learned a few little tricks – things that not exactly TAUGHT by the folks at aweber. In fact, I don’t even know if this stuff is AUTHORIZED – but it’s completely ethical, and these tactics allow me to improve my conversions whenever I send email.

Well, aweber recently came out with a brand-new interface for their service. It makes everything easier and faster to use, and it added some functionality. I really LOVE the new interface.

However, there was one slight change – I don’t want to really call it a bug, but it was a very slight change. It used to be that you could set the interval between your messages to any length of time up to 999 days.

So if you wanted to save a message and have it on “hold” for a very long time, then you set the interval to 999 days. That gave you nearly three years before that message would go out.

And I did that all the time. (The reason WHY I did that is one of my little secret tricks.)

And this is where the little aweber change comes in… right now if you save a message with an interval of 999 days, the system will actually save it as 4 days.

Now that I think about it, that actually *IS* a bug. It shouldn’t do that. But it’s a very minor bug as long as you know about it.

So THAT is why you received that weird message from me – I created the message as a holding spot in my sequence, and I never intended it to go out. But aweber saved the message with a delay of 4 days instead of 999 days… which meant the message went out to everyone.

Oh well, things like this happen.

As I mentioned recently, I have sent over 10,000 different broadcast emails in the last eleven years… and I have made every mistake possible, and I’ve made most of them twice.

Along the way, I have learned one critical lesson – your choice of WHERE you host your list is one of the most critical decisions you will face. And I want to make this decision easy for you – you should use aweber. The service is superior.

(Even given this tiny little bug – I bet they have it fixed within a day or two now that I told them about it.)

The MOST important thing for your list is getting your emails delivered. Take it from me… I used to publish an update to daytraders every single day. These people were paying a LOT of money to get my updates before the market opened each day. The updates couldn’t be late. The delivery needed to be rock-solid.

And if it wasn’t, my clients had a direct number for the phone on my desk. So I heard from a LOT of unhappy subscribers any time there were delivery issues. It was NOT fun when there were issues…and I did my best to avoid delivery issues.

I tested LOTS of list hosting providers… and I haven’t found anything that comes close to aweber for deliverability. And their features and support are top notch as well.

That’s why I invested the big bucks to get a private label version of aweber. I figured if I was going to be an evangelist for them, then I might as well make a few bucks along the way.

So what I’m doing is setting up some bonus videos that show those extra secrets that I’ve figured out.

(Actually, I didn’t think these things were THAT big a deal… but when I showed a couple of friends recently they got REALLY excited. So I figured they must be pretty cool. I sure as heck know that 99.99% of the email publishers out there DON’T know this stuff.)

In any case, here is the link to my private label version of aweber… it’s called ProFollow.com

If you sign up, then you will get access to my bonus training videos that show all my super-secret ninja aweber tricks.

And if you don’t want to sign up… well now you know the story behind my weird little email.

best regards,
Jeff

P.S. Here is one other thing. I mentioned that I received a TON of email from people asking about my “mistake” email. Guess what I did? I responded personally to ALL of them.

Many of those individual replies were mostly cut- and-paste after I wrote the first couple, but everyone got a direct personal reply. It took me a bit of time, but I *know* that is exactly the type of thing that builds relationship.

Do you take the time to do this with your list?

I think you should. I have built HYPER-responsive lists in many markets… and THAT is the type of thing that does it. Sure, it’s a little extra work, but the payoff is HUGE.

P.P.S. If you wrote to me and I did NOT reply,
then your email probably got filtered. Sorry.

P.P.P.S. Aweber is the BEST list host. Actually, my private label version of aweber is even BETTER… check in out now: ProFollow.com

Oh man… too bad I not using Aweber… using getresponse now.. but I do heard lots of good stuff about Aweber and most Internet Marketers are using that…
I wish I had used that instead when I first started out my own blog…
Nice post… and your ProFollow looks great!

Hi Jeff, I watched your latest case study with interest. I have to say it was good. I am one of your prospects wavering about whether to take the plunge and get product launch formula. I guess what is holding me back is that I’m getting held up in actual product creation. As you will see from my website http://www.ink-cartridge-refilling.com I have a product which I have created and successfully sold for 3 or 4 years. However I’ve been struggling with creating follow up or backend products. I find it very hard to discipline myself to get them finished. I have tried hiring a ghostwriter on elance but that didn’t work out. Do you have any tips for actually getting products completed? Or is it just a case of perserverance and hard work. I would like to purchase your product launch formula but there is not a lot of point until I can get over my ‘writers block’ or should I say product cretors block. Any suggestions would be gratefully received.

A few of days ago I told you about my cracked
tooth. Well, this story just kept getting more
weird by the minute…

You might remember that I was in a real rush when
I sent you that email – I had a gold crown break
off one of my teeth a few days beforehand, and I
couldn’t get an appointment with my dentist… he
was all booked up.

But then the folks at the dentist office called
and woke me up super-early Thursday morning to
tell me they had an 8:00am appointment available.

That’s not exactly my favorite time of day to see
the dentist, but then again… when is a good time
for the dentist?

And since the pain from my broken tooth was only
getting worse, I wanted to get in as soon as
possible.

There was only one problem… by this time I only
had about 15 minutes until I needed to leave for
the appointment, and I had promised to send out an
email out to help promote a launch for one of my
coaching students… only 15 minutes, and I still
had to write the email!

And believe me, 15 minutes is nowhere near enough
time for me to write an email (not to mention
getting it queued up in my autoresponder.)

But it needed to get done… so I sat down and
blasted through a quick message – basically
telling everyone that I couldn’t write a promotion
since I was late for the dentist!

By the time I got that email ready to go and then
ran out the door and jumped in my car, I was about
10 minutes late. I was a 30 minute drive from the
dentist, and it was already 7:40am. I don’t like
being late, but I figured I was OK.

But that’s when things really started to fall
apart.

I had been driving for about 10 minutes when I got
a call from my wife Mary… she was calling to
make sure I had remembered to take the gold crown
when I left for the dentist.

ARGHHHH!

In all my rushing around, I had completely
forgotten the crown!

And since I was hoping that the dentist might be
able to just pop it back on my tooth, I really
needed to have it with me.

So I did an instant u-turn… and it wasn’t
exactly the safest maneuver I have even made (I
was on a two-lane 65 mph highway.) Thank goodness
there weren’t any traffic cops around… and that
I didn’t get myself killed.

As I was racing home I called Mary and asked
her to grab the crown and meet me outside with it
when I drove up. I had left it in a plastic baggie
on the kitchen counter.

Mary called back a few minutes later to tell me
she couldn’t find the crown – there was no baggie
on the counter.

DOH!

I said “What do you mean? It’s sitting right out
on the counter in a sandwich baggie!”

But when I got home… it wasn’t there.

Then a thought occurred to us – my daughter had
made her school lunch on the counter that
morning… maybe she used the sandwich baggie with
my crown in it when she made her lunch!

That HAD to be it.

Of course, by this time I had missed my
appointment, so I called up the dentist and told
them I was trying to track down the crown in my
daughter’s lunch.

The folks at the dentist office got a good laugh
out of that.

After a few frantic calls to the school we got a
hold of my daughter. She inspected her lunch – no
gold crown to be found anywhere in the lunch.

Now I was getting desperate. Where was it?

Mary and I went through the entire house, looking
for that stupid baggie with my gold crown.

No luck anywhere.

Finally, an hour or so later we found it… in the
garbage, still in the baggie! Apparently we had an
overly zealous organizer in the kitchen (ie, Mary)
who saw what looked like an old empty baggie on
the counter and tossed it in the trash.

After calling the dentist back with my sob story,
they were able to get me in at 11:00am.

And when I finally made it in for that
appointment, you can bet the entire staff in the
dentist’s office had a good laugh at my
misadventures.

In any case, the GOOD news was that they were able
to put the crown back in. The bad news is that it
was only temporary, and I need to get a new crown
put in.

(Maybe I should auction the old one off on Ebay
for charity!?!)

The funny thing is that all of this dental
weirdness took my mind completely off my coaching
student’s big launch that day.

In fact, I didn’t even check in with him until
late that afternoon… probably eight hours into
the launch. That didn’t matter, of course, the
launch had some HUGE momentum… and it was a
roaring success. In fact it became the latest
“million dollar launch.”

Of course, I can just hear it now…

“It’s just another Internet Marketing guru launch.”

But THAT completely misses the point. This launch
was done by a couple of guys with no “name
recognition” and no list. The only thing they had
was a good product and a good story.

So they used that product and story to get the
attention of a bunch of folks who DID have a list
and who DID have name recognition. The result was
a seven figure launch.

But let’s forget about seven figures right now…
and let’s even set aside six figures. Because I
know that not too long ago my mind couldn’t even
fathom those types of numbers. And I figure that a
lot of folks reading this probably feel the way I
used to.

And the plain truth is lots of launches in tiny
little niches are a lot smaller. They don’t do six
or seven figures.

But even though the numbers are smaller, these
launches are still amazingly powerful.

In fact, they can literally launch entire
businesses. They can give you instant momentum.
They can take a business that’s dead in the water
and instantly turn it into a powerhouse.

But rather than me telling you about it, how about
if I show you instead. Here are some real-life,
real-world case study examples…

* Randy Pryor – a big launch in an obscure niche.
See the Case Study here:

http://productlaunchformula.com/jw/case1.html

* Orion Williams – a Photoshop tutorial product. See
the Case Study here:

http://productlaunchformula.com/jw/case2.html

* Chet Womach – launching in a little hobby niche. See
the Case Study here:

http://productlaunchformula.com/jw/case3.html

* Leslie Karsner – with a product on how to write
love letters. See the Case Study here:

http://productlaunchformula.com/jw/case5.html

* Jason Moffat – a great launch from a
list of 600 people. See the Case Study here:

http://productlaunchformula.com/jw/case7.html

* Chuck Smith – did two launches for “quilting” products
that did more than $x,xxx. See the Case Study here:

http://productlaunchformula.com/jw/case10.html

* Ray Edwards – used a launch to buy his wife a REALLY nice
gift. See the Case Study at this link:

http://productlaunchformula.com/jw/case13.html

Those are just a few of the examples I have on
file. There are lots more. But I figure that
should be enough to get the wheels turning inside
your head.

What would your business look like if you had one
of these product launches?

best regards,
Jeff Walker

P.S. You might wonder why I am on this “product
launch crusade”… well, let’s just say that I’ve
seen over and over again how one single product
launch can completely transform a business. Or
give a new business instant momentum.

This stuff changes lives.

And I have seen it over and over in just about
every niche you can imagine.

It might seem almost magical… but it isn’t
magic. It’s a step-by-step process that has worked
over and over for all kinds of everyday people in
all kinds of businesses.

You might think this is a little crazy…
I’ve been following your product launch campaign since Oct. 2005 – but I haven’t purchased yet. I REALLY REALLY want to buy it (you could say I’m rabid ) but to spend $1000 on a course is not going to fly with my wife!
So then I had this brilliant idea – I will sell off one of my web properties for the cost of your course – $997. I even listed it on ebay – check it out:

Now I hope it sells for more than that because it really is a great concept, but if I can get enough to buy your course I will be happy.
Just thought you might find this interesting!
All the best in 2007!
Hey Jeff I’ve been looking through your Case Studies and have been looking for something up our ally. We own a nutritional supplement company and we market our products to C-Stores and Gas Station nationally.
I was hoping you could dig up something special for me
Best Regards,
(complete with video) – and I absolutely
love this Case Study…

It’s about a young married couple who used a
product launch to go from working corporate jobs
to working for themselves in their online
business.

How do you do something like that? Well in this
case, by launching their own ebook in a tiny
little hobby niche.

And I have to tell you – it sure is funny
listening to how Pat was bouncing off the walls of
his cubicle as he checked the stats from his
launch.

Check it out now… you can see the Video
Case Study (including my written summary)

best regards,
Jeff

P.S. This is a really cool case study, but it also
has my most EMBARRASSING moment on video ever! You
will see what I mean in the first 30 seconds of
the video.
