Amazing case studies…
Right now, as I type this, I am flying home from
Yanik Silver’s Underground Online Seminar. It was
an incredible experience, but the highlight for me
was meeting soooo many Product Launch Formula
Owners who have had huge success using my course.
In fact, when I first walked up to the conference
room I was stopped by Mike Dillard. I had never
met Mike before, never talked to him before… in
fact, I had never heard his name before. But it
turned out that Mike had bought Product Launch
Formula (PLF) a couple of months before, and he
had just put together a very nice product launch
using my formula.
Mike had launched a teleseminar series for $197,
and had sold 500 of them in just a few days. It
was sorta early in the morning, so my math skills
were a bit rough… but as I calculated all those
zeroes, Mike told me the end result as right
around $100,000.00. What a launch!
Then Mike went on to tell me how this had
literally turned his life around - that he had
been waiting tables for a living only 10 months
earlier!
I can’t tell you how thrilling it is to hear how
of students’ successes - and in this case Mike’s
product launch had literally turned his life
around. That was a very nice way to walk into the
seminar.
Now this may be hard to believe, but no more than
10 minutes after I finished congratulating Mike, I
ran into Joe Merkola. He just used Product Launch
Formula to launch a product that helps people
correct their vision without Lasik surgery. Joe
described some of the science behind the product,
but he lost me pretty quickly.
However, the part that I did understand was when
he got around to telling me what his launch
numbers were. Joe had just done a product launch
and sold right around a half million dollars of
product! And he did this using ONLY his list… he
had NO joint venture partners and didn’t use any
outside advertising.
At this point, I was REALLY starting to enjoy this
seminar!
Of course, that was just the start of it. In the
next couple of days at the seminar I had one
person after another come up and tell me about
their product launch successes.
Now this is the funny thing - the seminar was
really just a quick stop-over on my way to a
family vacation with my wife and kids. And since I
was going on a family vacation, I had brought
along my camcorder.
So I was able to grab video case studies with Mike
and Joe and a bunch of other people.
In all, I think I videotaped ten different case
studies. I spent more time recording case studies
than I did in the conference room listening to the
speakers!
As soon as I get home and can get that video
uploaded, I will let you take a look at those case
studies - I haven’t looked at them yet, but I know
this is going to be some amazing material.
The funny thing was that NONE of the products were
“Internet Marketing” products. Some people think
that my Product Launch Formula only works for
“Internet Marketing” products - nothing could be
further from the truth. In fact, these techniques
work even BETTER in other niches, because the
people in those niches have never seen them
before - they simple don’t know what hit them.
Here is another interesting fact - the range of
products in these case studies ranged from $27
ebooks right up to expensive home-study courses.
In Mike Dillard’s case, the product didn’t even
exist yet! He was selling a series of teleseminars
that he was going to give in the future.
In any case, in the coming weeks I will work on
getting all these case studies loaded up to the
web site so you can see them. In the meantime, you
can see a whole bunch of other Product Launch case
studies at this link.
(Those case studies only have audio… sorry, you
will have to wait for the video case studies.)
best regards,
Jeff Walker
P.S. One of my video case studies was Orion - he
decided to give himself a trip to Paris for his
30th birthday. This was a big stretch, but he
decided to go for it… and to use a product
launch to pay for it. His product is all about
using Photoshop (this is at least the second time
Product Launch Formula was used for a Photoshop
product).
In any case, Orion actually launched his course
from an Internet cafe in Paris - so you can see
that this isn’t rocket science. Other than having
some difficulty with the French keyboard, the
launch came off without a hitch. And Orion was
able to easily pay for his trip to Paris… and a
whole lot more.
